Do you stock a model for my car?
We have over 300 towbars in stock for most makes including: Audi, BMW, Chev, Chrysler, Ford, Greatwall, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi,Nissan, SsangYong, Subaru, Suzuki,Toyota, VW and Volvo.
How soon can you fit my new towbar?
Usually we need just a days notice. Please phone to check with our office.
How long will it take?
Most installs are approx 2 hours however this does depend on the model. Our office staff can help you with this information.
What can I do while I wait?
You are welcome to wait in our customer waiting area or there is a ' McDonalds' with wifi and a McCafe, or a 'Coffee Club' just a couple of minutes away.

What weight can I tow?
Most vehicles have a recommended rating issued by the manufacturer. All our Towbars carry a rating certificate with this information.
What information do you need for a quote?
If possible -Model number (usually under the bonnet or on the inside of the drivers/passenger door) or registration number.
IF THERE IS NO STANDARD TOWBAR FOR YOUR VEHICLE WE CAN CUSTOM BUILD ONE !
There have been so many different makes and models imported into New Zealand in the last few years so don't despair that you can't get a towbar to fit. North Shore Towbars offer a design and build service for unique or low volume vehicles and can usually solve your problem. We aim to complete your towbar fitting in one day.
VANS & UTES
We can custom build towbars, rear bullbars and ladder racks to suit your requiremenst. We have a range of competitively priced standard rear bulbar/towbars for most commercial vans with steps if required.
TRUCKS & MOTORHOMES
We can design and custom build a COF certified towbar, bullbar or ladder rack to suit your vehicle usually within a one day turnaround time. We quote these on an individual basis-please call Phil to discuss.
